Panasonic introduces "rack-theater" with wireless surround sound for Japan market

EngadgetHD caught the announcement of the SC-HTR510-K and the SC-HTR10-K.

I wish they sold these over here in the States.  Would be just what the doctor ordered for my new condo.  150sq_sh-fx70-k.jpgSomething Engadget missed that if you dig a little deeper you can find... that the HTR510 unit is noteworthy in that it also accepts the SH-FX70-K wireless speaker expansion kit.  I hunted up the official press release, which is of course in Japanese.  However, Google gladly translates it for ya.

If you cracked open one of these SH-FX70-K WAIYARESU RIA SUPIKA KITTOs, you'll find some of our silicon in there.  Signs of more things to come.  Notice this things packs some serious punch.  90W per channel on the wireless surrounds.  Sweet.
