'Tis the Season Avnerans!

Walking around Best Buy today, I saw 7 products 6 products with Avnera inside!  Lots of hard work has turned out some innovative new products that will no doubt be on shelves for a few more Christmas seasons!

Noteworthy products seen on shelves: Logitech Clearchat PC Wireless, Rocketfish RF-WHTIB, Rocketfish RF-WS01, Rocketfish RF-WS02, Rocketfish RF-WHP01, and Rocketfish RF-WHP02, and (I think) the latest... Panasonic SC-BT100 which had a demo video cranking with surprisingly impressive sound.  The configuration being touted ran on a wireless FX67 wireless system... and the scenario was the same as the FX70-based system I wrote about when it was released on the Japan market.

(UPDATE/CORRECTION: FX67 is not Avnera... yet. Patience Daniel-san.  FX70 not shipping in USA yet).

Not too shabby.

Great stuff...You got me excited with the FX-67, but I think we'll have to wait a few more months...

Re FX-67. I know. Bummer. It's strange to me that P isn't shipping FX-70 over here yet. They ship both the previous tech and the Avnera based FX70 in Japan... and position the FX70 as better range and with the higher power amplifier. But the US is still seemingly the old tech with a high power amp... so a mish mash. Oh well. Nice thing is they always sell both ends of the wireless link, so seemingly it could change anytime... we'll see how it goes. Consumer may not notice... at any rate, the demo at BBY sounded damn good... the new speakers P ships in their Bluray are pretty good... even for the low price of the whole system.

The other cool thing is that the BBY I was at in Reston, VA has the ClearChat in two places. It was in the PC accessory aisle, as well it was on a rack of various "select" computer accessories next to the Apple Store-in-store.
