iHome, and the iP1 model, together have collected 3 awards from iLounge as published in their 2010 iPod + iPhone Buyer’s Guide – just in time for the holidays. The first two awards were for Accessory Maker of the Year, 2009 – both the editor’s and reader’s choice. That pretty impressive. Not to mention sharing Reader’s choice honors with the likes of Facebook and Tapulous, who won for app and game developers respectively.
Building on the success of iHome’s clock radio line, it also seems that much of iHome’s 2009 splash was created by the iP1, which brought in the third award, the iPod + iPhone Speaker of the Year:
The iP1 was also runner-up in Editor’s Choice for Accessory of the Year, behind the Speck line of iPhone cases… which ain’t bad considering that price is a major factor in that category. The Avnera-amplified iP1 is a wirelessaudioblog fave as evidenced by the tag cloud on this site. It’s no small feet for iHome to be recognized for an audio product, beating out fellow East coast firms – Altec Lansing and Boston Acoustics, who have significant roots in speakers and acoustic designs – for the nod.

Oh yeah, that’s nice. Although i think I am addicted to blue displays ever since Indigo watches came out.
